If you were to judge Link Aloha by their site you may be a little leery about spending money with them. Our first impression was not good. When gazing upon their website for the first time we thought they may be somewhat of a joke. The artwork was bad and the Hawaiian theme was a little cheezy to say the least. So could their service rise above their mediocre style? That’s what we wanted to know.
They advertise links in huge volume for extremely cheap. It is pretty hard to build decent links and make much money when you are selling them for as low a price as they are. Between the various packages available on their site you are looking at spending an average of 20 cents per link. This alone suggests they are most likely using software to do the link building.
As the weeks went by we looked at the links we were getting and were appalled at where they were coming from. They were blasting low-quality forum links which wasn’t advertised anywhere on their site. Basically they were spamming forums with malicious software to create fake profiles along with backlinks.
We believe forum links have their place in diversifying a site’s link profile, but they are worth almost nothing beyond that and having a link profile that is too heavily weighted on the side of crappy forum links is dangerous.
We recommend using forum style link building to create at most five percent of your backlinks. Services such as link aloha can be useful only in this context. We wish they would advertise the fact that they are forum link building service directly on their sales page so that professionals could take advantage of their service for what it is and not assume they are purchasing a higher quality link building service. As far as pricing goes they are about exactly on target for the low grade type of links they build.
